Custom & Specialty

If you can spec it, we can build it. Custom fixture programs since 1897.

Your Vision, Our Expertise

If your fixture doesn't fit one of the categories above, this is where to start. Miller designs and builds custom programs for nearly every kind of retail format — one-off prototypes, multi-store rollouts, niche product displays, and everything in between. Our design and engineering team works alongside yours to build exactly what you need.

More than a century of fixture manufacturing means we know what holds up under retail conditions and what scales across store counts. Whether the build calls for steel, wood, acrylic, or a hybrid combination, every part is designed, engineered, and manufactured in-house at our Richmond, Virginia and Dupo, Illinois facilities.

Our Custom Manufacturing Process

1.
Consultation

We start with what you're trying to accomplish and the constraints you're working within. The conversation maps your program from store layout to merchandising plan, so the design work that follows is anchored in how the fixture must perform in the field.

2.
Design

Our in-house design and engineering team produces drawings, sample prototypes, and cost-optimized alternatives. You sign off at each stage before we move to production.

3.
Manufacturing

Production runs at our Richmond and Dupo facilities, with steel fabrication, woodworking, finishing, and assembly handled in-house. Quality control is built into every station, not bolted on at the end.

4.
Installation

We coordinate delivery and installation directly with your team or with your selected installer. From single-store prototypes to nationwide rollouts, we ship to spec, on schedule.
